      Attorney Flynn provides advice to business clients about their rights and liabilities, and represents those clients in Federal and State Courts and in arbitration and administrative proceedings. His practice areas include commercial litigation, environmental liability, and insurance law. He has tried cases before Federal and State Courts in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.

      Attorney Flynn's commercial litigation experience includes court actions, arbitration and negotiations of claims under contracts, common law, and statutes, including the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act, Trade Secrets Act, Franchise Act, and statutes governing corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships.

      His environmental litigation experience includes claims and defenses under Federal and State laws including CERCLA, Connecticut's remediation cost recovery statutes, the Connecticut Environmental Protection Act, and the Federal Environmental Protection Act. He has worked closely with environmental engineers to define the type, extent and cause of contamination to develop and support his clients' claims and defenses. He works to recover or to minimize for his clients the extraordinary costs often associated with environmental contamination.

      Attorney Flynn's insurance experience began in 1985 with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, where he underwrote property and casualty insurance until 1988. For most of his legal career he has advised clients on the availability and scope of insurance coverage under property, casualty and life insurance policies. A significant part of his insurance coverage practice has involved claims for environmental contamination.

      Attorney Flynn received his J.D. Degree from Georgetown after earning a B.A. at Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey and before the U.S. District Courts of Connecticut, New Jersey and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

      He is very active in his community serving on the Board of Directors of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and the New Haven Boys and Girls Club. He is a coach in the Middletown Youth Soccer Program and on the Steering Committee of the Greater New Haven Sports Council.

      Attorney Flynn lives in Middletown with his wife and four sons.
