    Michelle L. Hummer practices primarily in the areas of commercial and residential foreclosures and family law.   Attorney Hummer has been a member of the O'Connell, Flaherty & Attmore, LLC team since 2008 when she began with the firm as a law clerk.  During her time as a law clerk, Attorney Hummer performed extensive research in various areas including: family law, foreclosure law, commercial law, environmental law, criminal law, tort, personal injury, and debt collection. While attending law school in the evenings at Western New England College School of Law, she worked for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch full-time as a courtroom clerk.  Attorney Hummer also received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from the University of Connecticut, where she was awarded membership to Pi Sigma Alpha National Honors Fraternity.  While attending the University of Connecticut, Attorney Hummer also participated in an internship with the State's Attorney's Office in the Hartford court where she authored various trial briefs used by the prosecution team.  
    
    In the areas of commercial and residential foreclosures, Attorney Hummer assists clients in legal matters concerning all aspects of default servicing including:  foreclosures, loan workouts, debt restructuring and foreclosure mediation.
    
    In the area of family law, Attorney Hummer represents clients in matters such as:  divorces, distribution of marital assets, child custody and support, alimony, post-judgment issues, including modifications of support orders and contempt proceedings, and restraining orders.
