Anne R. Hoyt, a resident attorney in the firm’s Central Village office, maintains a general practice including family law, civil and commercial litigation, residential and commercial real estate, worker’s compensation, social security disability, probate and administrative law.
Admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut, Federal District of Connecticut, and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court, Attorney Hoyt also serves as an Attorney Trial Referee for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch and served for two terms on the Statewide Grievance Committee. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Windham County Bar Association, and she also serves as guardian ad litem and attorney for the minor children in contested dissolution actions.
Attorney Hoyt earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from Connecticut College in 1977. She received her Juris Doctor from University of Connecticut School of Law in 1980, and is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut, Federal District of Connecticut and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court.

Attorney Hoyt resides in Norwich with her husband and their two daughters. She is a past-president of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Norwich chapter of the American Cancer Society, and a former member of the finance committee at St. Augustine’s, Canterbury, Connecticut. Attorney Hoyt was involved as a Girl Scout leader for many years and is a lifetime member of the Girls Scouts of America.
